Energy for Everyone – Sleep and Balance

Do you struggle with getting a goods night’s sleep?  Sleep is basic to life and adults on average need about 8 hours in 24.  I personally only need 6.5 to 7 hours per day.  Given this is a third of your life and important physiological repairs are conducted while you sleep it is worthwhile getting some things right.

SLEEP

Keys to a good night sleep:
  • Good mattress and pillow that give you comfort and support.
  • Bed covers that meet your temperature comfort and the season.  If you have different temperature need to your partner, try having individual doonas.
  • Routine – turning in at a similar time each night helps with sleep patterns.
  • Stimulants eg. coffee should be avoided in the hours before sleep.
  • Lavender bags and soothing music or meditation relax your mind.
  • Herbal tea such as chamomile relax the body.

I find myself getting tired in the afternoon.  What can I do?

Feeling tired and having low energy levels during the day are common complaints.
They are influenced by a range of factors, including the amount and quality of sleep you get, the time of day your circadian rhythm) and your general physical health.
The most common cause of chronic tiredness and sleepiness in our society is not getting enough rest.  This refers no so much to the previous day, or even the previous week, but to the months before.  Chronic lack of sleep accumulates over time and you can’t catch up on weekends.
Your inbuilt circadian rhythm based time of the time of the day is also important..  There are two periods during the day when you are more likely to feel sleepy – between midnight and 6am and between 1pm to 4pm (the time of the siesta in some countries.)
Recent studies suggest the human body is very sensitive to changes in glucose levels, which means that when the body needs fuel, the brain chemistry creates alertness.  However this swings the opposite way after eating and coupled with the circadian dip after lunch can create a double dose of tiredness.

So what can you do?

  1. Fix your sleep ‘hygiene’ (routine and relaxation) to get quality sleep at night.
  2. Get micro-breaks in your day before fatigue sets in.  This might be a walk to the water fountain, stretches, breathing technique and exercise.
  3. Keep up your water intake.
  4. Limit high carbohydrates and high sugars at lunch time.
  5. Micro-naps (10-15 Min’s) are shown to help concentration but not always practical at work!
  6. Schedule short meetings or calls if possible, or make it a waking meeting or conversation.  For longer meetings create micro-breaks to refresh concentration and incorporate exercise breaks, or go for regular walks.

What sleeping patterns are best for busy people?

During normal ‘sleep’ we cycle through four stages of sleep, including one that is called raid eye movement or REM sleep.  When you go to sleep, you usually enter into an REM sleep stage after approximately 90 minutes, the next one after another 90-100 minutes and so on during the night.  Breaking this pattern reduces your resilience.
The sleep and wake cycle is linked to all the other functions in the body, including hormone secretion, which occur over the prolonged sleep episode (usually at night).
The best way to support your resilience is to keep fairly regular bed-times.  Spoil yourself by unwinding with music, meditation or a book or magazine.  Avoid caffeine or other stimulants for two hours before bed.  Check your mattress and pillow are supportive yet comfortable.
Sleep is so important to maintaining good energy levels.  If your not getting enough sleep, you are burning yourself both physically and mentally.  It is not always easy to get a good night sleep, but you need to monitor yourself and listen to what your body is telling you, sometimes you just need to put your head down and rest.

So remember the following…

FITNESS, HYDRATION, NUTRITION, SLEEP

All four work together to give access to the Endless Energy you need everyday.  If one is lacking it is most likely the others are effected, so it is about maintaining balance in all four areas.  You need to take control if you want to power through your life and you can easily start today.  Energy for Everyone is not difficult to achieve, these are simple guidelines.  The benefits are ULTIMATE PEAK performance for your MIND, BODY, INTEGRITY and VITALITY to every living cell in your body.  The best way to make your DREAMS COME TRUE is to wake up.

Energy For Everyone – Nutrition

Diet has to be one of the most important parts of a healthy life and good resilience.  You have heard it before … “What you eat is what you are.” It so directly defines your energy level that we should really be giving NUTRITION much more thought than most of us do.  There is so much bad food available to us that if your not conscious and aware about nutrition, you are likely to be sucked into a black hole of convenience and bad food habits.  This will ultimately effect your energy flow.

Nutrition

There is so much to know about nutrition that I couldn’t possibly cover all of it in this post, however, I will address a few key points that will get you on your way of knowing the TRUTH and perhaps answer a few questions you may already have.  I hope to give you a few tips that have assisted me in getting optimum energy and performance out of my mind and body 24x7x365.

Q. I feel sluggish, bloated and lack energy.  What can I do?

You know that a healthy diet contains a variety of foods and that too much intake without burning it off as energy leaves you with a surplus that gets stored as fat.  Processed foods, too much sugar, salt or fat all put additional load on your body without providing sustaining energy.  They work against your resilience and energy.
However, if you are eating a balanced diet with variety (and your two fruits and five veg) and still having bloated feelings or wind then your body is not resilient to either the demands on you or the types of food you are eating.

Here are some steps to figure it out.

Check your GP, a nutritionist or naturopath if you are concerned or you feel you have issues that you can’t handle yourself.
  • Daily Exercise like walking aids the digestive system by massaging it.  Various yoga postures also massage internal organs and assist with the removal of toxins.  Exercise is important, but take it easy to start and you will get stronger as you progress in your ability.
  • Check you are having small meals spread over the day.  Missing breakfast is more than a mother thing; it is bad for your metabolism and your digestive system.
  • You may like to try herbal tea like peppermint tea to sooth the digestive system.
  • You may have intolerance to some foods.  Wheat and dairy are the top two foods that can be a problem.  A nutritionist can help as you cut various foods out of your diet and see how your system responds.
  • Drinking more water is great, drink it regularly and throughout the day.
  • Cut down on our caffeine intake as this can irritate your gut but don’t give it up in one hit – caffeine is a drug after all – so reduce it over several days to avoid headaches if you are an coffee drinker now.
  • Foods rich in Vitamin B like grains, beans or fish help your body function better.
  • Balance your fibre intake so you are regular and ensure you include fruits like apples, grapefruit, pear, avocado and raspberries.  Vegetables like, cooked kale and peas, carrots and squash.  Cereals and grains like bran, oats and brown rice.  Beans nuts and seeds like cooked lentils, black beans, kidney beans and soy beans, flax seeds, almonds and pistachio nuts will all boost up your fibre through the day.
  • Be honest about why and what you comfort eat.  It takes courage to meet the challenge to overcome poor eating habits but only you can do it.  Get the support you need. Find substitutes and distractions, including exercise to break the habits and know that you are pretty extraordinary.  Yes, you…Go for it and celebrate getting control over your eating and body shape.
The last thing I want to say is that you need organic whole foods, nuts, legumes, vegetables, fruits, berries and grains.  Unprocessed, unmodified and freshly washed.
“Your nutrition is worth the investment and organic foods just taste that much better! “
I like to shop at the organic markets in my area every weekend, this gives me access to all the wonderful produce I could ever need through the week.  When I eat out, I am also very selective on where I choose and that the food I order is cooked to my satisfaction and will meet this criteria.  Most of us have a choice of what we eat and where we eat and we should really exercise that right, to choose HEALTHY.
Most of your energy, comes from the food you CHOOSE to eat.  NUTRITION is the key to ULTIMATE ENERGY.  You have to rise above the typical diet of the average person, or your body and mind will achieve average results.
Your ENERGY FLOW is directly related to what you put into your mouth.  If you feel you are not reaching your MAXIMUM POTENTIAL start to alter you diet and eating habits…it’s the only sustainable way to SUPER CHARGE your life and you can take more control right NOW, TODAY.

Energy For Everyone – Hydration

In the last post we discussed the importance of FITNESS in your life.  Today I want to share another important aspect which is HYDRATION.  This is just as important to help increase your energy and build resilience in your system.  Hydration is simply drinking plenty of clean water, low sugar fluids and eating healthy unprocessed food, fruit and vegetables through the day.

Hydration

Does Drinking water help resilience and boost energy?

YES!  The body is made up of  55-75 per cent water.  The amount we need depends on our metabolism, the weather, the food we eat and our activity levels, but on the whole we need more than we often think.  Approximately six to eight glasses (at least 150ml each) of a variety of fluids is recommended to be consumed each day. That is approx 1 litre of water total each day we should consume throughout our daily activities.  In this post we are going to share the reasons why this is so important to your energy levels and health.

Some facts about our internal water supply:

  • Body water is higher in men than in women and falls in both with age.
  • Most mature adults lose about 2.5 to 3 litres of water per day.  Water loss may be more in hot weather and with prolonged exercise.
  • Elderly people lose about two litres per day.
  • An air traveller can lose approx 1.5 litres of water during a 3 hour flight.
  • Food provides about one litre of fluid and the remainder must be obtained from drinks.

Water is needed to:

  • Maintain the health and integrity of every cell in the body.
  • Keep bloodstream liquid enough to flow through blood vessels.
  • Help eliminate the by products of the body’s metabolism, excess electrolytes, for example sodium and potassium and urea which is a waste product formed through the processing of dietary protein.
  • Regulate body temperature through sweating.
  • Keep mucous membranes moist, such as those of the lungs and mouth.
  • Lubricate and cushion joints.
  • Reduce the risk of cystitis by keeping the bladder clear of bacteria.
  • Aid digestion and prevent constipation.
  • Work as a moisturiser to improve the skin’s texture and appearance.
  • Carry nutrients and oxygen to the cells.
  • Serve as a shock absorber inside the eyes, spinal cord and in the amniotic sac surrounding the foetus in pregnancy.

Water is a gift of life and essential every day.

Remember hydrate with at least 6-8 glasses (at least 150ml each) that is almost 1 litre throughout the day.  If you sweat, exercise or it is hot, you will need more fluids.  Avoid soda pop or sugar laden drinks, processed juices and excess caffeine.  A squeeze of a lemon or lime in a jug of water is very refreshing and very good for you.  Water at room temperature or chilled is fine.

I like to create a ritual around water.  I always have a clean bottle of water available and usually within arms reach.  Even just a sip can refresh your system and your ready to go…

Good hydration will cleanse your system and give your body good resilience against colds and flu and help your system feel balanced, fluid and alive.  It is not rocket science, but good hydration is very important to improving your energy levels, building resilience and cleansing your system.

Don’t take water for granted …

If you have access to clean drinking water on a daily basis, then you should consider yourself lucky!  I know we take it for granted a lot of the time and don’t give it much thought, but there millions of people on the face of the planet who don’t have access to the luxury of clean running water or bottled water and we need to acknowledge that too.

It does not take much to do this…you clearly have the power to raise the glass and toast your success! I assume if you have a computer and are reading this, you have access to clean drinking water, so enjoy your abundance and incorporate these rules of hydration into your life … be conscious about water and hydration of your body, your mind and your life will thank you for it!

Energy for Everyone – Fitness

Health and quality of life we don’t tend to appreciate until it is lost or compromised. Pain, discomfort, inconvenience, cost and loss of well being highlight how precious good health is to us.  Maintaining well being is a balance of four main areas.  When one is poor the others are affected.
They are :

Fitness

Sleep

Nutrition

Hydration

FITNESS

Q. How do i get fit when I am too busy to exercise.
There are ways to put minimal time into fitness, however the more you look after your body with time and exercise the more likely you are to resist colds, flu and have energy to push yourself.  Daily 20 minute exercise is your aim.  Remember to check your with your preferred health professional if you have any health concerns or have not exercised for a while.
You need to get:
  • flexibility (stretching and muscle toning), and
  • fitness work (gets the heart pumping)
It is best to figure out how you can do these in you life style.  Here are some ideas.
Have walking meetings or conversations. This does really work.  You can park the car further away or get off the bus/tram earlier and walk it.  Use sport as a team activity instead of having drinks etc.  You should encourage walking as much as you can, go for a walk to a local park, river or beach and use stretch programs in your working day.  Get out at lunch time for a walk, run or gym session.  Book it in your calendar.
Q. How does exercise help when I feel stressed out?
Your body responds to pressures with a fight or flight response – basically under all our 3G existence we are still pretty much responding to life as our cavemen and cave women ancestors did.  What happens in your heart works harder, your blood pressure increases, your blood thickens and you immune system is suppressed. Unchecked this can go on to health problems including digestive and reproductive problems.
  • Exercise helps your body get back in balance, gives an outlet for the adrenalin build-up, releases endorphins (feel good chemicals), distracts your mind so you can clear it and has a positive influence on the potential health effects mentioned.
  • Choose any type of activity that you enjoy.  Walking is cheap, some like dancing, swimming, jogging, yoga or team sports, whatever gives you a sense of self-esteem and achievement – oh and a sweat, get that heart rate up.  It is all balancing you up again.
You can incorporate exercise into your daily routine and we will be sharing more about that in following posts.  I want to share fitness with you first, because it is often the thing that we seem to place last.  There is always something more important to do, but really fitness is the most important.
You have to find the time to exercise and you need to fave fun and be disciplined whist you do it.  When you play by the rules, this brings true satisfaction, energy and happiness.  It makes your body feel alive and empowered, to do all the things you need to complete in your day.  Exercise replaces and renews cells and balances your spirit…You Have To Exercise!
Over the next week I will be sharing posts on the importance of Sleep, Nutrition and Hydration.  These are key elements to gaining maximum energy levels in your life.  Until then, I hope you take the chance to take action and incorporate what ever exercise you can into your daily routine to energise your body and empower your life.

Access To Endless Energy Part 4

How are you living in the flow?

In the last few posts we discussed the beauty of energy flow on our planet Earth. We shared how easy it is to plug into the abundance of this energy. The most exciting thing is that you can tap into this flow whenever you want to re-energise, rejuvenate and empower your life. There are a few more things I would like to share with you about energy flow and in particular the flow of that energy and how it is conducted through your life.

Life Transformation Now

The biggest thing in life is to have lots of energy!

Don’t you agree?

Think of all the things you could do if you had unbridled energy. Imagine the power, abundance and success. Now the key to energy is once again not necessarily a technique. There are lots of techniques out there to get more energy. You can do excitement techniques. You know the ones, change your state, and change your state. Watch 20 videos, Anthony Robin’s videos and things like that. Listen to tapes and DVD, they will teach you to yeh, get excited, get excited, change your state and that can be effective sometimes, but ultimately the moment is gone and the energy wears off.

The biggest way to create true energy in your life is to transform your life. It’s the way you live; it is the way that you live that empowers you. It is your integrity, aligned with your vision and your purpose that conducts this flow and leads direction. It is about how you live your life and the actions and decisions you make every moment that make the difference.

So you need to think … how are you living?

Life Transformation NowAre you eating, all natural, healthy organic whole foods, vegetables, fruits and nuts that completely fuel your life with energy or are you eating foods that are poison? Foods that are processed, or modified. Let me tell you that some of these foods are causing devastation on yourselves. They are consuming your body and using all your energy to combat all the bad things you are putting into it. All this processed and preservative, often fully laden fatty food. Toxins, fats, preservatives and crap saturating into your body. Alcohol, drugs, smoking and adictive behaviour. It takes a lot of energy to get all that out. Energy, you could be using elsewhere.

Let me tell you…you make that choice! Do you eat foods that enliven you or do you choose foods that will kill you, hold you back and slow you down. Let me tell you our bodies and organs are strong and resiliant considering what we put them through. But it only lasts so long. When the body gets run down, sick or old, it can be a very, very, fragile organism. Do you exercise, at least 30 minutes a day? Are you active in the practice of stretching or yoga, meditation, cardio and strength training? Are you drinking plenty of clean filtered water daily and getting adequate sleep. These are all questions you need to ask yourself and take action immediately if there is a blockage.  It doesn’t matter if your 18 or 80 … as an adult no matter what your age, your should be doing these things daily or at least weekly as a practice in your life.  You should be doing these things if you truly want to be successful and produce a long rich life.  You should be doing these things to channel the flow and have lots of energy.

How are you living in your relationships, are your relationships draining your energy? Do you have lots of drama, tension, stress, fear, dependency? Because guess what, those are all energy suckers too. They are suction cups draining your energy, sucking more out of you than often we give them credit. Do you choose to be independent and on your own? Are you really kind of detached from how people look at you and what they think of you. Are you, your own person not really dependant on other peoples energy to keep you focused and going? Do you choose consciously to develop relationships that support you and are not based on dependency, but are based on love, abundance and giving?

Life Transformation NowHow often do you rejuvenate? How often do you support yourself? How often do you take the breaks when your body is telling you that you need a break? How often do you go outside and be in nature, or read a book when you know you need to read a book? How often do you recharge your batteries? How often do you say, I love you … to you?

It is the way you live your life that is the single largest thing that will determine the energy flow you have. It is the way you live your life that is going to give you the power to go out there and manifest and create any single thing that you want to create in life.  It’s not a technique; it’s the way you live! If we are truly to become transformed individuals, the new hat we need to change is the things within ourselves and how we live. Let me tell you that this is really the most important thing.

All this energy is related to you and in particular your life. Most people don’t make the conscious connection to how important energy is in your life and business. You need work ethic, talent and skills.  You need energy to infuse a huge amount of momentum and power into your life to be successful. You just have to put your life, soul and heart into it. But you have to have energy before you can do that. You have to be empowered; you have to have lots of energy to give and the passion that puts the soul into your life. To be truly successful, you have to have lots of energy and you have to know where to get it from.Life Transformation Now

Take to heart and ponder everything that you have learnt today. Look deeply into your life at any areas where you can make changes. Make sure you release emotions as they arise within you, so that you don’t repress yourself and create stagnant energy. You need to release all these things and clear the flow.

There are areas in your life that will cause a blockage to your energy flow if you don’t transform them NOW and sometimes the cost can be high. We are not born to know, we are born to learn and I hope you take this knowledge I am sharing with you today.  I hope you take it and use it, every moment, so you can be one of the most empowered human beings on the face of this planet who ultimately wins.

Access To Endless Energy Part 3

Earth Chi (Qi) & Earthing

Up until a few hundred years ago, our ancestors lived in direct contact with the Earth’s surface. As natives they walked barefoot upon the ground, slept close to the earth, or perhaps were separated by only the thinnest of animal skins and plant based organic bedding materials.

Homes were low with dirt floors and often made of stone or some other conductive material. Our ancestors touched the earth continuously and intimately. They walked barefoot or had shoes made of animal skins, which allowed the flow of an electrical connection to the earth.  They lived in spirit with the earth and knew of the sacred energy that flowed and were united through nature and their natural environment.

Are you focused on NUMBERS Today or NATURE Now?

Throughout the history of civilization, cultures around the world have honoured connectedness to the Earth and described the energy of the Earth in different ways. Some may be familiar to you, such as Earth Qi in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Prana in Ayurveda.

Today, we have adopted very different lifestyles from our ancient forbearers.  We wear shoes with rubber soles and sleep in beds and houses that are insulated above the ground.  We live in concrete cities and often loose awareness of the true reality of life and the beauty of nature.

Earthing is the simple practice of grounding yourself, to the earth.  Reconnecting your body to the natural electrical field in the Earth’s surface and ultimately restoring the body’s innate electrical balance.  This can be achieved by simply removing your shoes and socks and walking on the grass, beach or anywhere your naked feet connect directly with the earth.  It is also achieved by resting and sleeping on the ground for at least 20 minutes or longer.  There are more complex methods of Earthing, but for the sake of this post, we will keep it simple.

The Earth’s surface contains a limitless number of free electrons that are continually replenished through solar radiation and lightning strikes. These are released into the atmosphere.  Your body naturally absorbs these particles when you make physical contact with the ground. Inside the body, these electrons reduce the free-radical activity, some that causes inflammation and chronic pain. The energy also helps keep your body’s innate electrical circuitry properly balanced.

You are likely to have had an experience of this form of energy yourself at some time or another. Maybe while on holiday, walking barefoot on a sandy beach, you felt some tingling or a sense of well-being. That sensation is the Earth’s electric energy rising up into your body, the result of the skin of your conductive body making contact with the “skin” of the conductive earth.  Just as sunlight provides us with vitamin D, the earth provides us with another essential ingredient. Some call it vitamin G: G for ground.

Through direct contact with the Earth, free electrons flow into the body, neutralize positively-charged free radicals and ultimately restore the body’s innate electrical balance and intelligence.

Today, there have been dozens of studies that prove beyond any doubt that Earthing has significant positive effects on physiology.  Here are some of the results:-

  • Defuses the cause of inflammation and improves or eliminates the symptoms of many inflammation-related disorders.
  • Eliminates or reduces chronic pain.
  • Improves sleep pattern and quality.
  • Increases energy levels and mental awareness.
  • Lowers stress and promotes calmness in the body by cooling down stress hormones and the nervous system.
  • Improves blood pressure and circulation whilst thinning the blood.
  • Assists headache relief and relieves muscle tension.
  • Lessens menstrual and hormonal symptoms.
  • Improves the efficiency of the respiratory, cardiovascular, circulatory, and nervous systems.
  • Speeds healing by lessening inflammation.
  • Protects the body against potentially health-disturbing environmental electromagnetic fields (EMFs).
  • Accelerates recovery from intense athletic activity.
  • Reduces or eliminates jet lag.

Results will vary from person to person; some say they feel better in just an hour, sometimes less. The amount of long-term relief and the speed in which it’s realised vary depending on mental state and what condition is involved.  It is also important to note that Earthing best results are produced with the persistence of ongoing use. It is important not to give up too soon.

The benefits of Earthing are so profound that I can see why it may be one of the greatest health discoveries of our time. I realise a declaration like this may seem far-fetched and appear as an exaggeration, but this is truly special.  This post is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to information about the Earth’s unseen natural healing power and I hope through your transformation that you will find time to practice in the discovery as well.

The Northern Lights are one of nature’s most spectacular visual phenomena. In this time lapse recreation they provide a breathtaking display of light, shape, and colour over the course of a single night in Norway. Free electrons arriving to earth during a solar storm.

Access To Endless Energy Part 2

In the last post we shared how awareness of nature and its connection to your spirit is so important on a wisdom and spiritual level if you are to experience any form of deep transformation. I want to share how you can access more of this energy and enlighten you to a few home truths about energy flow in your life.

Did you know the earth has a natural flow of electrons emitting from it constantly. This is proven by quantum physics and there have been studies and papers on this.  One element of this is called Earth Chi or Earthing and I will dedicate part 3 to this understanding.  Energy is constantly pulsing from the earth and electrons flow endlessly into the atmosphere. As human beings in today’s society, we are consisitantly in the habit of wearing shoes on our feet.  If we are always wearing shoes, then our body does not come in direct physical contact with the earth and hence reduces the energy flow of these electrons.  The rubber or any artificial soul on our shoes cancels out most of the energy flow.

Feet In SandIf you take off your shoes and socks, yes, that is right…show your little toes… and spend time with your feet in the ground, placed upon the ground or planted in the earth itself. The constant flow of electrons emitting from the earth will flow through you and into your body. Your being propigates this flow from connecting directly with the earth.

feet-in-grassIt is important to always connect with nature in this way.  Take off your shoes and walk on the grass, on the beach, in the dirt. Feel the earth underneath your feet. Bury your feet in the earth, in the sand and wiggle your toes in the grass. It is important to be surrounded by nature and to be part of it. Everything is surrounded and connected with this energy. Everything is connected to the flow and you are missing out if you are not making an association and connecting with it.

What is important to this exercise is that you have the belief ,

wisdom and a universal spirit to make it all work.

At times there can be so much going on in our lives, so much energy flowing out of us, we can miss this connection and not even have it present in our consciousness. If you experience, stress, loneliness, fear, money troubles, scared, sad, lonely or frightened. When you notice this occurring, it comes to a point where you have to connect back with this earth energy. We have all had times in our lives when we have felt this way. Often without us knowing it. I appreciate when I take a walk through the gardens, parks or especially the beach and swim in the Pacific Ocean.  I connect with nature and the earth and it always makes me feel better and I feel fully energised.

There is a technique I want to share with you. It may sound silly to some, but I want you to know about it. Some people may even see this as crazy or New Age.  I think is actully very traditional.  When you really want to connect with nature,  lay down on the ground in a nice park or on the sand at the beach. Lay on your chest like you are going to sleep and put your heart to the ground. Yes, literally, put your heart on the ground, on the earth, and let it energise you.  Get comfortable and relax, sometimes you may fall asleep.  Allow the earth flow to take away the pain and energise your body, mind and life.

The earth can heal and take away pain.  Sometimes you may even cry in those moments. I remember the saying when I was young, real men don’t cry … well that is a story in itself. Let me tell you it is a load of crap. It’s a blockage. If you don’t cry then it is unnatural. We are designed to cry and we should allow it to occur when it does. If you don’t allow yourself to cry, it is repressing your emotions.

Tears and crying are natural emotions. If you hold back this emotion, this creates suppressed feelings and it surfaces as anger, violence, depression, neurosis or whatever. That is what happens when you repress energy. Crying is the natural way that humans release pain. It’s how we release emotional pain, how we release the things that are troubling and tormenting us.

Many of us have shut down those emotions since we grew out of our childhood. Problems at work, money stress, family stress, relationship stress, all these things that are reeking emotional stress on our system. These feelings and emotions are sometimes necessary, but they are toxic long term.  As humans we repress it all and this is not where you want to be in life.

The biggest thing you can do to be free on an energetic level, is to feel like you are present within the FLOW of LIFE.  Be emotionally cleaned out and unleashed of all of that repressed emotion that will manifest over time.

The moments you spend in nature, releasing your emotions will free a channel  for the energy to flow.  Remember, heart on the earth, lying down, relax, have a nap, perhaps fall asleep, feel the energy flow.  To start, all you need is bare feet, wisdom, faith, belief and an open heart.  I have done this many times and I would wake up and sure enough emotional pain would all be gone.  As if the earth had sucked it right out of me.  And I know that’s what it did, it really was gone. It will produce an amazing feeling or release and create a clear space  going forward.

Healing you and connecting with nature cannot be underestimated as a powerful instrument in your transformation orchestra. Earth energy is constantly around us, we just need to connect with it.  It is an external force that can fill you from the inside out.  If you are not connecting with it, then there is a good chance you are not comprehending the true meaning of life on this planet and it may well be that you are caught up in the illusion of our society.

Take some time out for you and have this moment to yourself and our planet earth.  This is simple application of the things we already do, the difference is your consciousness around it and a pathway that is open to tap into this energy flow.  I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences when you take the motivation to reflect on this.

Access To Endless Energy Part 1

Endless Energy Technique is something that I want to share with you this week. You see, I have a confession to make and that is that these techniques are simply that, techniques. I want you to know that within this program we are much more interested in causing incredibly deep transformation than we are in providing any kind of short term technique. I suppose we have all been there. You know, you learn a technique, you may use for a little while and then get rid of it and ultimately move onto something else.

Most techniques themselves are short term. Techniques themselves are not really transformation. They are simply tools that we can use on a daily basis that will help us stay focused on our ultimate goal, vision and purpose. In order to create transformation you need to understand the principles and your life needs to be guided by wisdom or a higher understanding on a spiritual level.

Tapping into this wisdom is what really leads to long lasting transformation.   There are several techniques you can use that will lead to your transformation and we will be discussing these over the coming posts.

UniverseIt is important for us to address that everything in the entire universe is energy. The stars, planets, gas, gravity, oxygen, water; they are all flowing energy and connected. Our earth, the only planet that we know of in the universe that sustains life is the ultimate life force of energy.

lifetransformationnowNow I want you to imagine a beautiful park or garden in your area. The air, water, trees, flowers, birds, bugs and grubs. I want you to think right down to microscopic organisms that live within the blades of grass and grains of dirt. Within this frame work of nature, all things are beautiful and connected. Often one can’t live without the other.lifetransformationnow
It is an essential skill in transformation to connect with this energy force and feel the living power of nature’s energy in your life. The reason for this is that it helps you become one with the earth and all of life. You can do this by taking yourself into nature on a regular basis and exposing your thoughts and senses to this connectedness. It could be something like going for a hike in the mountains, or even visiting your local park, river or beach with this awareness planted in your consciousness. Take the time to connect with natures energy, feel it and be with it, part of it. This is a simple exercise you can do today.  It is free and it is something you can take on at any moment to empower your energy levels.

When you stop and tune into the energy life force of nature, you will feel it and become one with it in yourself. It fills you up and you become embodied with this natural energy and you are placed on this earth as integral part of it. To be immersed in the ocean or to have your feet planted firmly in the sand. To be lying under the trees, below the branches spending quality time with nature. Sitting with and immersing yourself inside of nature. Smelling the sweet scents of life and renewal, taking it deep within.  This is a simple technique and one you can use to empower yourself today. Take nature within and let it empower your life. We are often so busy that we forget in all the chaos and loose this powerful connection between true life and nature.

Over the next week we will be discussing more techniques that are related to this energy flow. For a start, you need to think about this connectedness with nature and bring it with you into your awareness.  It is good practice to do it at every moment, every day, or at least a couple of times a week. I suggest that you turn off your computer now, get out in nature and go for a walk and try this exercise for yourself. Think of your favourite place in your area where you can take 1 hour. Stop and feel and connected with what we just shared. You need to bring this awareness into your consciousness and you need to practice it. If you do, it will soon become a framework of your being. Sit with nature, connect, enjoy and be in the moment. Acknowledge the abundance, embrace this ultimate life force and let it resinate inside of you.

Are You Living Life With TRUE Purpose?

Have you ever wondered what your TRUE purpose is?

While there are many ways to think about this, some of them fairly involved, here is one of the simplest awareness exercises that anyone can do.

The more open you are to this thought process and the more you expect it to work and take action, the faster it will work for you. Not being open to it or having doubts about it or thinking it’s an entirely meaningless and idiotic waste of time won’t prevent it from working as long as you stick with it — again, it will just take longer to converge.

Here’s what to do:
1. Take out a blank sheet of paper or open up a word processor where you can type (I prefer the latter because it’s faster).

2. Write at the top, “What is my true purpose in life?”

3. Write an answer (any answer) that pops into your head. It doesn’t have to be a complete sentence. A short phrase is fine.

4. Repeat step 3 until you write the answer that makes you emotional or even cry. When you hit this point, this is your purpose.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a doctor, an engineer or a builder. To some people this exercise will make perfect sense. To others it will seem utterly stupid. It usually takes 15-20 minutes to clear your head of all the conscious clutter and the social conditioning about what you think your purpose in life is. The false answers will come from your mind and your memories. But when the true answer finally arrives, it will feel like it’s coming to you from a different source entirely.

For those who are very entrenched in low-awareness living, it will take a lot longer to get all the false answers out, possibly more than an hour. If you persist, after 100 or 200 or maybe even 500 answers, you’ll be struck by the answer that causes you to surge with emotion, the answer that breaks you. If you’ve never done this before, it may very well sound silly to you. So let it seem silly, and do it anyway.

As you go through this process, some of your answers will be very similar. You may even re-list previous thoughts. That’s fine. You can list whatever answers pop into your thought process as long as you just keep writing them down.

At some point (typically after about 50-100 answers), you may want to quit. You may feel the urge to get up and make an excuse to do something else. That’s normal. Push past this resistance you are feeling, and just keep writing. The resistance will eventually pass.
You may also discover some answers seem to give you a mini-surge of emotion, but they don’t quite make you cry — they’re just a bit off. Highlight those answers as you go along. Each reflects a piece of your purpose, but individually they aren’t complete. When you start getting these kinds of answers, it just means you’re getting warm. Keep going…Reaching for the Sky

It’s important to do this alone and with no interruptions. If you’re a nihilist, then feel free to start with the answer, “I don’t have a purpose,” or “Life is meaningless,” and take it from there. If you keep at it, you will eventually get it out.

When you find your own unique answer to the question of why you’re here, you will feel it resonate deeply within you. The words will seem to have a special energy to you, and you will feel that energy whenever you read them.

Discovering your purpose is the easy part. The hard part is keeping it with you on a daily basis and a commitment to take action to the point where you become that purpose and it is alive and present in your life.

You have to give it a shot! At the very least, you’ll learn one of two things: your true purpose in life -or- that you should unsubscribe from this blog.
